maison dunand | beverly hills

This 1938 Beverly Hills residence was designed by architect Herbert Reisenberg in a stylized French Revival style, influenced by the streamlined white brick houses being built in L.A. in the 1930s by Paul Williams and others. Our remodel restores the house to its original splendor and adds much-needed family rooms and bedrooms. The new interiors maintain the scale of the original and are inspired by the works of Jean Dunand and the Art Deco and Art Moderne periods in Paris.

frank pennino

“We have shared many successful projects over the years. They are one of the few architectural firms in L.A. that truly understand and study period details and proportion. They continue in the great tradition of David Adler, Maurice Fatio and George Washington Smith.

Their beautiful houses incorporate the most advanced mechanical systems requested by their discerning clients. It is a joy to work with these dedicated artists. ”

Regardless of which style they are working in, they always give you a house with perfect proportions where everything feels right and is dead-on. If you get the architecture right, everything else will sing.
